Community Cares Iron County doing business as Iron Kids is a non-profit organization that provides quality after school care throughout the school year as well as an enrichment program during the summer.

Afterschool Program
Our afterschool programs provide an extension of the school day in a safe, supervised environment. Children who attend the after school club benefit from tutoring for homework and reading. They also participate in sports and other physical activities daily. A nutritious snack is provided each day. We provide various themed projects throughout the school year such as the Star Wars exhibit that was featured during arts night at Fiddler’s Elementary this spring. The afterschool program is offered at East, Fiddlers, Iron Springs, North, Parowan, and Three Peaks elementary schools for the 2023-2024 school year.
Summer Program
Iron Kids offers a summer enrichment program for children up to 7th grade. We provide unique enrichment and academic opportunities for children during summer break. Children who attend summer camp are able to participate in activities and field trips that cannot be offered during the school year. To see our schedule please visit the Summer Camp Page.
